A resource for the retreat

The money
wheel.

Eight questions about your life with money. You move each one and your wheel appears. What you see is not a score: it is a shape.

Almost nobody has a round one, and it is not necessary. What matters is where the dip is, because one low segment drags the others down without you noticing.

At the end you choose one to raise first. Just one. All eight at once is the surest way to move none of them.

It belongs to the retreat, not to the monthly session: it takes time and it usually stirs something up, and the retreat is where the circle has what it takes to hold that.

The eight segments

From 0 to 10, according to how it feels today. There is no right answer and nobody is going to see it.

My money wheel My money wheel · for me, not for comparing

Where I start

It has to depend only on you. «That my partner agrees to talk about the budget» does not depend on you; «asking him for half an hour on Sunday» does.

I raise first:

It prints the wheel with your name, the segment you chose and what you are going to do. The sliders do not print.

Where it comes from

It is an adaptation of the wheel of life, which Paul J. Meyer created in the 1960s for Success Motivation Institute and which was then used everywhere. The classic version divides a whole life into segments. This one divides money only, with eight axes taken from what comes up again and again in MQHD circles. The rule about not comparing is MQHD's.
